We want to make the magic of Camp Winnarainbow work for your family!
We know families are working hard to provide fun and valuable experiences for their children. Camp Winnarainbow provides a couple different pathways to request financial assistance for summer camp tuition.
Payment Plans
Any family may request a zero-interest, time-payment plan to finance tuition. Register your camper for the session(s) of your choice and email the office within one week of enrollment to request a time payment contract. Indicate the amount you want to pay monthly and the payment date and return to the office to set up the schedule.
Financial Aid Grants
If the cost of Camp Winnarainbow tuition is inaccessible to your family, we offer tuition assistance on an application basis. If you want to be screened to receive financial aid, do NOT register your camper through the online system. Please follow the steps below, or reach out to arainbow@mcn.org for more detailed information.
How To Apply
The purpose of our financial aid is to assist families who would not otherwise have the financial means to come to Camp Winnarainbow. Financial assistance is granted by a committee of CWR alumni and administrators, based on a family’s need and availability.

Use the chart below as a guide to determine your family’s eligibility for receiving financial aid. If you have a TANF, SNAP, or FDPIR case number, you are automatically eligible to apply for aid.

How to Submit an Application
Our financial aid application window will open December 2, and requests for financial aid are made between December 2 – February 1 through our online application form.
Your camper’s application helps our committee get to know your camper and understand your family situation. You and your camper’s authentic voice in this process is vitally important. You will be asked to submit a detailed personal statement and to provide information about your camper.
Starting in January, our screening committee will begin to review applications. Application screening will continue through February, and we aim to notify families of grant awards by the end of February or early March.
